After much hard work we've finished putting the final touches to our first Knight Guitars web site.

The latest Knight is a Cherry Sunburst, left handed, semi-acoustic / electric guitar. Finished of with a mean looking Mother of Pearl Welsh Dragon, for an inlay. Built for Jack from Newbury.

Past Article: Knights Guitars represented at Linley Exhibition

Knights Guitars where pleased to be included in "the craft of the luthier, an exhibition of British handmade guitars at Linley" in 2001. Here's what they had to say:

"Gordon Wells (Knight Guitars)

The late Dick Knight was justly renowned for his voluptuous Big Band-era archtops. His son-in-law Gordon Wells, together with his son Robert, has carried on the tradition with outstanding guitars such as this acoustic jazz archtop (see below), the Knight'Deco' model. Top of fine-grained Sitka Spruce, back and sides of select figured Sycamore, Ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl inlays and all brass hardware by Knight Guitars. An exceptional instrument.
